ETA: Guys, the first two questions are the same question. If you see your favourite in Q1 you're not obliged to vote again in Q2, I just ran out of options.

Lots of love.

Not quite enough room in the text box for:

I am remiss and apologise for my inadequate length. Nevertheless I am very intrigued by this song of which you speak.

Difficult choice. Much to my undying shame, I've found myself humming several of the less fashionable tunes from that list to myself over the past few days.

Obviously, Kirsty has to be everyone's fave (is there any other choice), but I've a soft spot for both Gaudete and Solstice Bells (it's the folky in me), and for John and Yoko, Slade and Jonah Lewie.

ps: isn't I Wish It Could Be Christmas Every Day normally attributed to Wizzard - it isn't one of Roy Wood's solo works...

Something makes me think you were watching the same show I got the pleasure of sitting through while waiting for my mum to see her Strictly Come Dancing finale *g*

And actually, I'd vote for the same Barenaked Ladies mentioned above. That, or Ella Fitzgerald.

I prefer Good King Wenceslas... Fairytale of New York is fun, but I never think of it as christmassy really!

Was tempted by the Waitresses (no, there is no accounting for taste here, it's pure sentiment and association) but I could never have looked John and Yoko in the eye.

Other nominees: The Kinks' Father Christmas, Beck's Little Drum Machine Boy and, speaking of the season, Adam Sandler's Hanukkah Song.

Darn, I missed the David Bowie and Bing Crosby Little Drummer Boy. . . oh well.
