Back on the Have Your Say section of the BBC news website, alongside various floral and doubtless, illiterate, tributes to Steve Irwin, which I shall be mercilessly mocking as soon as I've had a chance to read them, is an item titled, in true Onionesque style, 'Ask King Mswati III of Swaziland'. Which presumably is syndicated to over 100 publications nationwide.

Something about your icon is incredibly disturbing.

I shall make a mental note to use it more often, then. :D

Oh, Chave Your Say. I wish there were some way to stop viewing what ill-educated illiterate cretins Have To Say.

It is my new favourite icon. Lowell is making me more. Or he'd better be. *pokes from work*

Hee, those little animated ones are always so entertaining.

So you're enjoying Bleach, I take it! I'm glad, it's a very good series :D

Hee, my 9-year-daughter, who's always loved a animals and has wanted to be a vet since she was 3, walked into my bedroom this morning and told me in a giggly voice that "that idiot who fights with crocodiles got himself killed". It made my morning.

Irwin's always been an irritating wanker, and Beth has never liked him (VERY rare as she watches every animal show she can and usually loves them), but for me the absolute turning point was when he was feeding the crocodiles in that zoo *while holding his newborn baby*. That was beyond a WTF moment, and IMO there was nothing the man could ever do after that to redeem himself.

Not really, no, you just don't involve a new born with your work, whatever it is....he was stupid. But it's rare that a child is astute enough to see it. That makes Beth waaay cool, in my book.
