I wish the BBC would stop saying 'storms are coming omg'. Apparently there was going to be torrential rain and thunderstorms and lightning and massive hailstones and possibly tornadoes yesterday afternoon, and sure enough it got very humid and loads of big black clouds started boiling up to the west, and they moved in slowly and then absolutely fuck-all happened. It's now sunny and hot and humid again.

Now they're saying that the same storms are now going to happen today. Apparently they're in Oxfordshire at the minute. Oxfordshire is about forty five minutes away in the car.

I want my torrential rainstorm!

Same thing here: storm warnings, sunny and hot in the morning and big black clouds in the afternoon - and nothing happens. I want a thunderstorm.

We had three thunder storms with lightening and torrential rain pass over us last night. The one at 3am pretty much went bang over our house. And it's no bloody cooler!

I just want a few cooler days -- around here, it's been either hot and humid but no rain, or hot, humid, and rainy. I'd love to see temperatures below, say, 80-85*F, or even just less humidity.

Sadly, that's not very likely until, oh, probably September.
