I was on the tube down to Camden yesterday to try and find me some [livejournal.com profile] kazzik...

... and while we're about it Camden is very nice; full of market stalls that I want to buy things from - I need a decent fitting winter jacket still and they appeared to have some nice ones - and hot boys in jeans that are pastede on yay! I understand it's where some of the t00bs get their bondage gear, so I will have to go back ...

... and just outside Chalk Farm, the train came to a sudden halt in the middle of the tunnel, which is quite normal proceedure on the Northern Line so we thought nothing of it and continued sitting on one of the little jump-seats by the doors. Well now, twenty minutes ticked by before the driver came over the intercom and informed us all - to whit the company of assembled passengers and a small dog apparently called Kenzie - that he had no idea what was going on, but that as soon as he had any information he would duly and without undue delay pass it on to us, for which we were all very grateful and accordingly returned to our iPods, copies of Metro, listless rocking back and forth etc.

Another eight minutes had elapsed before the driver came back to us, and told us the following:

'I still don't know what's happening up ahead. The light is on red. However we're just outside the station so I'm going to run the light. The train will start up and will then stop very suddenly, so hold on. And then we will move very slowly into Chalk Farm.'

The train duly started the move forward, gathering a little speed before screeching to a halt with a jolt that very nearly had me on the floor. Then all was stillness for about a minute, and then we moved into the station. I still have no idea what was actually going on

ETA: Guys, the first two questions are the same question. If you see your favourite in Q1 you're not obliged to vote again in Q2, I just ran out of options.

Lots of love.
