I get a weekly email full of fascinating information that I never needed to know about all the movements and gossip in the high-powered world of hackery. X has left Y in high dudgeon and joined Z, owned by A, who once subbed copy for B at the highly-renowned Weekly D, and so on.

The other week it included this little gem

Correction - Jayne G****** is the new editorial assistant for Canal Boat & Inland Waterways, and not as reported last week for Wedding magazine. Wedding magazine has not hired a new editorial assistant.
