Now that we're finally rid of Russell T Gayvies and moving forward into the broad sunlit uplands of the Moffat era, to paraphrase Winnie, I feel like a bit of lunatic theorising. A chum rather handily predicted the entire plot of the special just gone over 12 months ago, can't be that hard, right?

Go with me here. Now, clearly not every Moffasode can be a Blink or a Fireplace in the Library or whatever. There have to be some Daleks vs. Cybermen-stylee clangers in there, too, just to piss off the old school fans and keep the crucial pre-teen/families demographics watching.

The imminent Skinsification of the franchise under Matt Smith also leads me to posit that we must assume that Moffatt will have the occasional script-fart. This is allowable, and Gayvies has left us a few little tropes and threads hanging there to keep alive. Will Did John Barrowman and Russell Tovey get it on, for example?

Now, given that we know that the unhinged Rose Tyler is now confined to a parallel universe, nightly riding her psychotic Consolation Doctor like the Bad Bad Pony he indubitably is, so part of Ten is already alive and well (and drained).

We already know that people have managed to come travel between the two universes before, and despite the apparent closure of that avenue, I wouldn't put it past someone to smuggle in a MacGuffin that would allow travel between the two, and allow for the, admittedly one-hearted Tenth Doctor to steal back his TARDIS and vanquish Emo!Boy.

With these facts known, I put it to you, dear reader, that Tenain't Dead and suggest that we might be seeing him in the 2010 Christmas specials.

It would be utter crap. It would slightly irritate thousands of fen, and you gotta admit, the show has form in those stakes.
